Business Tasmania approached Neon Jungle with a problem. Beyond a bunch of hefty PDF files and some links to emergency services, they had no central and succinct way to support businesses through the process of identifying hazards, assessing vulnerabilities and creating an action plan to follow in the case of an emergency.

Our proposed solution became the Emergency Ready Business Tool – a simple, online tool that allows businesses to prepare for emergencies based on their individual exposure to risks, complete with personalised action plans.

Our discovery phase saw us deep dive with the Business Tasmania team into unpacking the myriad of threats that modern-day businesses are facing, and after some extensive question mapping, a giant flow chat in Figma, and some intensive wireframing, we had the foundation for the tool laid out.

The visual design of the tool came together following the Government style guidelines, and with accessibility front of mind, whilst still achieving a modern look and feel that stands out amongst a wash of same-same Government webpages.
